I think it’s time to admit that the Cheng is overvalued compared to the Amanar. The technique to chuck a hideous one with relatively minimal deductions has been pretty much figured out.

It needs to be downgraded to a 5.4 at minimum.

The fact that the Amanar has basically disappeared and we see these Frankenstein attempts at the Cheng is definitely a problem. I'm mostly okay with Wong's, but it's clear that her Yurchenko technique has digressed... she used to have one of the best DTYs in the world, full stop.

We definitely have to do something. It seems like half the sport is either chucking a profoundly dodgy Cheng or still rehabbing whatever injury they incurred training it.
