I'd love for Osyssek to have a good Worlds. She's really grown on me.

Same here - I was hoping she would do AA. I really like her gymnastics style and her demeanour on the podium.

Ming is her given name . Most of the French gym fans I know refer to her as Ming GVE or just GVE if only using surnames. But yeah, she sounds like someone with a lot of passports

Osyssek is only being sent to do that beam routine? lol okay, fine, it's a great routine, but she's clearly much more the future of this team than Charpy and should be given the AA spot IMO.

She was fourth AA in European Championships top - I wonder if there's been an injury?

I have said it before, I think Philippines could qualify a WAG team to LA.

They can if they choose by merit and not by any other means. It is a corrupt country.

Unfortunately they don’t do it for every athlete/routine only the better known ones. And it is often not what is actually performed but rather what the athlete is expected to attempt. Kind of like figure skating, which is where the inspiration comes from. The gymnastics producer on match tv has a figure skating background. Also for international competitions, they are just showing the same broadcast feed as everyone else so we don’t have it.
