Australia has been sending some of its emerging talent to world cups, university games etc this year (Lucy Stewart, Annabelle Burrows etc), but as per the above post, there's simply nothing for a fourth Australian WAG to do at worlds except compete a couple of non world-class vaults.
And while the emerging talent that we're leaving behind might turn out to be slow burn (like Breanna Scott) rather than bursting onto the scene and making their mark as a 16 year old like Ruby Pass did, things aren't looking as bright for depth for Australian WAG now as they were a few years ago. We're more waiting for injured veterans to return (Georgia, Emily Whitehead) than for promising juniors to hit 16.
I do feel like all three of our gymnasts going worlds have yet to have their careers peak though. They're a solid core for Australia.
