Well, she hasn't yet. Her vault was a DTY but with form deductions (and a ND I think, live scoring is down) and her UB was .3/.4 lower too.

They were going to give her an 8.2E. Did D'Amato fall? They gave her a 7.5 vs Melnikova's 7.2 with a fall. Seems a little sus, despite Melnikova's generally great form that they couldn't find as much to deduct on hers--these guys have been experts in deductions this worlds (not as much as FX judges though).

I tire of seeing this. Why exactly are coaches, gymnasts, and commentators (who are former gymnasts) so ignorant of the Code? Why are Code seminars or workshops or something not required out of people?
