Michigan State is now no longer seeded with Missouri (YAY) but now with Kentucky (NOOO) and Arkansas as well as #1 Oklahoma.
So at least one of Michigan State or Kentucky will likely not make it to Nationals. Missouri, Kentucky, and Michigan State are my favorites. Unlikely all 3 can make it to Forth Worth.

Any reason a gymnast would be allowed to redo a floor set after falling during the first attempt?
Towson gymnast Ana Kenefick performed her floor twice (with no music issues), and the counting score (9.85) was the second attempt that did not have the fall.

First attempt-0:59:50
Second attempt- 1:17:50

Maybe she got the flag to go but the other judge wasn't ready?

From Towson’s press release, there was “a floor issue.” That sounds like an equipment problem, but it’s kind of vague.

Interestingly, in that same rotation, an LIU gymnast kicked off the beam cap on her dismount and fell. The commentator thought she got a redo too, but it wasn’t her.

For all the Maryland, Towson, and GW mess described in the regionals thread, it’s just fitting that those 3 teams were the only ones inside the top 36 with 5 meets left after this past Sunday. Between today and tomorrow (UMD at Temple), that goes down to 4 meets.

But next weekend (3/14-3/16), these 3 programs see each other twice. They’re almost comically linked at this point.

Towson and GWU both put up counting scores.

I have Towson in 33rd, passing Maryland, and GW tied with Central Michigan for 35th.

And Maryland will move back ahead of Towson with anything higher than 195.65 tomorrow at Temple.

Let’s get all 3 of the MD/DC programs closer to 30th, or ideally one of them into the top 28.
