Georgia, if my calculations are correct, just jumped from #12 to #9.

LSU overtakes UCLA for #2.

Cal puts up a season best 197.775 at Home. Ondine Achampong finally does a competitive routine! BB 9.775 with a wobble and a non-stuck dismount. Easily should be in the 9.9s when she hits. Cal moves up to #5.
YEP!

We are pretty much in agreement, I think the only difference is you are coming from it as a true UGA fan versus a random observer. If I put myself in your shoes I would be happy and optimistic about the co-head coach experiment so far. Certainly, there is no reason right now to say it won't work. As I said, they are to be commended for bringing some consistency to the line-ups. I slightly disagree on your top 10, although I again understand as a starved fan it feels amazing. But top 10 is definitely the floor for a program like Georgia, after all, if CKC was producing top 10 teams, would she have been let go?

An honest hypothetical question, what if in 3-4 years this is as far as they climb? How long do they get before critcism sets in or in another way, what is the Georgia's fan definition of program success? Lets say they make top 8 nationals one year (definitely doable if they are hosting a regional in that time frame) but other years just outside or never advance to the final 4? I mean its probably question for all fan-bases. Like I am sure folks are frustrated with Rowland (small probably but enough) and Jordan at Arkansas is what 6 years in with objectively little to show. We all hear the chatter about year 3 at Bama. What do you define a coaching staff and a successful program?
Kupets results were not very good: 2018-17th, 2019-7th, 2020-10th, 2021-18th, 2022-28th, 2023-18th and 2024-20th. And I agree with you that if Kupets was producing teams ranking 6-10 after all the time she was given to succeed, UGA might still have let her go. You're right- the UGA athletic admin expects Georgia to be in contention for a title meaning a top 4 team but they also know this will take some years. I do believe that in 3-4 years if Georgia is not back to that place then the criticism should and will begin. They are paying Cecile and Ryan a lot of $$$ so they definitely expect those results.

Georgia has a great chance to make the top 8 national teams this year. Last year they were one tenth shy from being in the final 8. However I'm glad they didn't make it because if they had we'd probably still have CKC as our head coach. Love her as an athlete but not so much as a coach. I'm happy they have moved on as I think that Cecile and Ryan will have better success. So far they already are!

At this point, it's a pretty big NQS gap between #4 Utah and #5 Cal, which feels right given how this season has been going. Cal will likely keep improving their NQS but so will Utah. Oklahoma, LSU, UCLA, and Utah do seem to be favorites for final 4.

LSU has been underwhelming in their past 3 away meets, but they still have time to sort that out. In terms of Arkansas vs. Alabama for bottom, Arkansas needed more than the 196.4 for separation. This week, it's Alabama's turn on the road with a 196.1 to drop. So even if they lose to Arkansas, they could still pull ahead again. Still annoyed this is even a thing to be tracking.

My sources imply pilgrim is concussion protocol. Blakely I think we all know what happened there unfortunately. Florida is in quite the jam. Talk about a team decimated with injuries. At this point, I wonder if they will even make the night session at SEC. It would be a minor miracle if they make it out the regionals.
