It's interesting, because that's not what they did last quad at all. I wonder how much the 2022 push, not just from them but generally, was inspired by the lack of Simone and Russia meaning medals were all of a sudden much more available.Based on what I saw yesterday that seems wise: there was quite a drop-off after the top four. I'm bummed that Italy is not cashing in on easy medals this year, but admittedly this does appear to be a wise strategy. And probably a good sign for a team that has had a lot injury issues in recent years.
