Just when you forget how short a gymnast is...

Yes, but.......Rockettes have to be at least 5'5" in bare feet. So even the shortest Rockettes is going to be taller than most gymnasts. Throw in the ones in the video are all wearing heels (2.5 or 3 inches, hard to tell), and Jordan is in socks, and they end up with a massive height disparity. Plus Jordan is, frankly, unusually short even for a gymnast. She's not even 5 foot and she's 23 years old.

FWIW, the average height of American women in 5'4". Rockettes have always skewed tall, the height minimum was 5'6" until a couple years ago.

This conversation had me looking up to see who the shortest gymnast was and supposedly Bai Chunyue was 4'3"??? You see how tiny Simone and Flavia are and somebody was five inches shorter?

To be fair she didn’t look much different when she reappeared in 2001. Although it is hard to believe she was four months away from turning 17 at the Tianjin Worlds.

She was probably 14. Adding 2 years was the standard operating procedure at the time. Although possibly she was only 13. But either way, she was so tiny even for a young teenager.

Peszek posted it in her stories on Instagram in the last week or so, I think people were asking her to commentate one of her own routines.
