She was at these Nationals, I think she was judging? I can’t remember now I’d have to go back and look later lol. I remember her being dressed like a judge.

On a related note, the following former Chinese gymnasts hold F.I.G. brevet ratings:

Deng Linlin - Category 3
Wu Mengyun - Category 3 *
Yang Yilin - Category 4
Fan Ye - Category 4

* I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly Wu was a promising junior that appeared around 2005-2006, but we never really saw anything from her at the senior level.

Yes, Wu was an excellent beamer. She had some decent results as a junior ca. 2003-04 but sustained a serious injury (back, iirc). She competed some watered-down routines at the 2005 National Games and then retired.

The Asian Champs WAG team has changed: Zhou Yaqin, Zhang Yihan, Qin Xinyi, Zhang Xinyi, Zhang Kexin, and Jin Xiaoxuan (alternate).

Apparently, Zhang Qingying is still recovering from a foot/ankle injury. I imagine that Zhejiang wants to keep her in bubble wrap until the National Games.

How about Olympic medalist Tan Jiaxin?
I haven't seen anything about her recently, but her 2016 teammate Wang Yan just received her Masters degree from Beijing Sports University.

Rats, I can't even link to a photo from her thesis defense. In any case, the title is something like, "A Comparison of Chinese and Foreign UB Composition and the Los Angeles Olympics COP." (Sorry, this is a crappy translation.)

Posters on Baidu think it's ironic that she wrote a thesis on her weakest event. But maybe there's something to it?

Tan Jiaxin went to Central China Normal University with Shang Chunsong. She graduated in 2022 from the school of Physical Education. I see her popping up in other people's photos from time to time, she seems to still be close with several of her teammates.

Here she is with SCS on stage at their University's giant goodbye concert in 2022, they sang a song with some international students and other sports stars.

Here she is on a beach last year. She doesn't post enough online for me to figure out what her career is. I would assume coaching/teaching, given her major.
