She had serious problems with her hips/groin and couldn’t continue to train.

She was at these Nationals, I think she was judging? I can’t remember now I’d have to go back and look later lol. I remember her being dressed like a judge.

I think she was a timer on BB and/or FX.

* I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly Wu was a promising junior that appeared around 2005-2006, but we never really saw anything from her at the senior level.

Yes, Wu was an excellent beamer. She had some decent results as a junior ca. 2003-04 but sustained a serious injury (back, iirc). She competed some watered-down routines at the 2005 National Games and then retired.

She graduated from Shanghai University of Sport in 2020. She judges/officiates domestic gymnastics competitions with younger kids.

This is her at the training course for the new COP about three months ago.
