I actually started a bead thing with our level 9/10 girls. We do it between States and Regionals to keep track of hit routines. My goal being that when they start to get stressed at Regionals, they can be reminded of all of the hits they have had. Some absolutely love it, some are indifferent. They can participate if they choose, but are not obligated. One of those kids who loved it most kept them all and returned them to me when she left for NCAA. Her bead haul was quite impressive.
