Having met her, I'm not surprised at all. I think this was definitely what her goal was. I think she will be a big improvement, Bev had been completely absent in the recruiting process recently and that definitely had an effect on some.

On the new hire - personally I wish they looked outside the program a bit just because I think they need a refresh of staff given their downward trajectory but I understand it's an awkward time to be searching for a head coach. Hopefully Maile can get them back up the rankings.

He was a MAG assistant at Illinois for a season. McCool is very knowledgeable about WAG both elite and NCAA. I am not surprised he made the transition over to WAG.
