Jade doesn’t ever seem to feel the music. I see no improved artistry. Her Olympic FX went more with the music that anything she’s done in the past couple years (including both elite and NCAA).

I maintain hope that Sumanasekera will start putting all the pieces together. Another year with Landis for the bars, the potential is there on beam and floor, perfectly serviceable vault and we’ve seen training videos on a second, I think…

With Raisman, at least she had the cool combo pass, and her routine was over pretty quickly. Jade’s Olympic FX felt like it dragged on.
