Hope it’s nothing serious regarding MDJDS. I wonder if seeing someone about her confidence in her abilities might help. She has talked about nerves in the past.

Chiles, Saraiva, TXJ, and MDJDS all being out of the final plus Russia not being here and… we still actually have a pretty good list of athletes? At least before they all fall seven times.

The top 6 is pretty nice. Andrade, Jones, Chiles, Yushan, Gadirova, Maggio.

These three would clearly be in the second group at any other well attended Worlds.

Yes but would say that at least that second group(mid 53 to high 54 AA) is pretty deep. Maggio, Gadirova, OU, D’Amato, Visser, Black, Kinsella. Quite a few gymnasts who could sneak up to bronze with mistakes from Jones or Carey and make it interesting.

I don’t know Maggio is a competent AAer when she is hitting all 4. If she can stick her 1.5 in the first rotation she could be in good shape to medal.
