routine had lots of rhythm deductions, plus that was a fairly significant break on the full turn.

Andrade has great form and positions, and she doesn’t give away a loooot on pauses either. I wasn’t judging but could be. Now for Ou’s 10 or 15

Literally at midnight last night I couldn’t sleep bc my brain said “why don’t these gymnasts have days off in between competition days” and then I spent the next several hours trying to redraw the world’s schedule and qualification rules

Okay, that sort of puts things into perspective. And to be fair, I did miss the first few seconds of Andrade’s routine.

Andrade just needs to drag herself over the line here, survive the pressure and learn what it feels like to be an AA winner. She’s just doing enough.

Ou should be higher. Granted, it wasn’t perfect, but when something is on in the routine it’s GORGEOUS
