Has Jong improved her artistry since Nationals or nah?

13.5 internationally is a HUGE score…!

Another video of beam and men’s vault (not in the day 2 video)

She definitely has. She’s at 12:10 in the Day 2 video
HUGE improvement. At Nationals I was giving her 5s and 6s for artistry but I feel like a 3, maybe a 4, appropriate now.

I feel like for me, what’s missing from Jong is amplitude. Everything looks like she’s getting just enough height to do the skills. It feels like everything is at its limit. Maybe she could stand to take some skills out or downgrade some elements. She leans back on that double pike on beam and floor and I always feel like she’s barely gonna make it.

At 0:50 - is that an acro series that you would give CR to?

Does she need to put the second foot down to credit the LOSO (and thus the CR)?

I’m no code expert in any way shape or form but I feel that gymnasts who have done that before did get the CR in the past

Gorgeous routine despite the lack of tumbling difficulty.

However, I do think Sacramel/Memramone (not sure which couple name i like more) need to highlight Levi as an exemplar/model of how floor should look in terms of artistry for the entire National Team.

Even if the toe point is not everyone can give us, the creative ways she moves from a dance/leap element into choreography is how floor needs to be done with the new code.

Hard to tell from the video, but to me it does look like at least her toes touched the beam before the fall so she would get CR credit. Had she not touched the beam with her toes it would not get credit for CR.
