So, problems at Georgia. There's a fire outside Stegman and the ventilation system is pulling smoke inside.

Arkansas is wearing an almost normal leo. Georgia is VERY pink tonight.

I made the mistake for checking out gymnastics reddit tonight. Oh. My. God. The crying by Arkansas fans about how the judges hate them and it's just so unfaaaaaaaaaair! Um, have you not seen Arkansas home scoring?

OU was way off tonight 🤔 Kaliya Lincoln has a beautiful double lay, and I am shocked that KJ Johnson hasn't changed her hair once in the last few years. I guess she must like the look.

Some NCAA fans are absolutely insane. There's no reasoning with people like that

They may make me eat my words, but Oklahoma just doesn’t have it this year. They seemingly have no depth, which is the only explanation I can come up with as to why they are using so few gymnasts. I can’t figure out if KJ’s being stubborn about the beam lineup or if that’s really her best six routines.

After tonight I think the era of fewer 10s is over. It lasted maybe six weeks, LOL.

I didn't watch the LSU-OU meet but did OU really leave the PMAC before Bryant finished her floor?

According to people at the meet OU went into the tunnel to talk during Bryant’s floor and then came out and congratulated LSU. The tale of them storming out in anger is apparently more internet nonsense.

However, I am 99% sure Arizona State greased down the beam and that caused Utah to fall. That theory is absolutely my new favorite thing.

Keira's is the only beam routine that is questionable. The other 5 are have been scoring well this season, albeit all of them having a wobbly routine at some point this season.

It's probably at the point she needs to try Ava again. But it's hard to put in someone as inconsistent as her. But no one else needs changed in that lineup.

I can’t believe we still don’t seem to have scores from the Cal meet. No live scores, nothing yet on Roadtonationals, nothing on the Cal website…

I feel like Pederson’s been pretty wobbly of late, but apparently she’s also a bit injured at the moment. I can understand that a LSU home meet is probably not the best place to throw someone new in the mix, but you would think they would be trying to give her a bit of a break. Instead she’s doing the all-around.

The final scores from the Cal meet are Cal 197.050, Utah State 196.475, and TWU 195.375. Cal apparently had a bit of a rough beam rotation, which seems to be a common theme this year for them.

I wish these teams would quit going to Metroplex. It’s a black hole of a meet, although apparently you can stream it this year for the bargain price of $25.

I figured there was more to it. The internet made it sound like OU got on the bus home after they walked out. It didn't make sense to me that they would face the media after nationals last year but would storm away after a mid-season meet with LSU.

Ah two constants on reddit, UCLA is the best, funnest, most beautiful team, full-stop. And we hate OU, they are cold, hyper-religious, east German robots. All posts on reddit are made in this context.

I said at the beginning of the season that this year was supposed to be LSU's year, not last year. Given all the seniors and depth on that team. They "stole" a title last year when OU had that collapse, so its no surprise how they performed and are performing. LSU was the better squad last night, too many shaky landings for OU. The scoring was inconsistent at best but evenly applied to both squads some of those random, how is that routine the same as that other routine?! OU definitely has the talent and ability to win it all and on a neutral location they might have won, say what you will about LSU (not my favorite) but they bring it at the PMAC. if everything goes chalk, its going to be between these two squads for the title.

In other SEC meets, Arky, despite being the beneficiary of off nights, still is struggling in my opinion. They should have won that meet if not for the off beam landings. Georgia is good, and being consistent a whole season is a win. I still see it more of a trendline continuation from last season versus some incredible coaching job. Florida is in the top of the league, but not really a contender. Auburn is burning this season for experience, looking for next year. I didnt see mizzou or kentucky but they are definitely in the night session group. I am surprised at how much Bama is struggling even though I also thought at the beginning of the season they would have a rough time with who they lost.

Bama did not do itself any good with last night's performance against Missouri (and Illinois and Iowa) counting a beam fall for a non counting 196.675 road score.

It does appear that it is LSU, Oklahoma, and Florida for the SEC title. Kentucky and Missouri are battling for the 4th and final evening session spot.

Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas all fighting for that 8th and final spot will be the most excitement I think.

ACC is also heating up. NC State just barely beat Clemson. UNC beat Pittsburgh. Too bad about Cal and Stanford likely being 1-2 because any of these four could be the best team on any given day. Would have made for an exciting conference championships.

I don't understand the decision to have Lily Pederson push through a groin injury at this point in the season. There's got to be other options. Maybe not the options KJ loves, but surely there must be someone who can fill in. What if there was a major injury?

If I remember correctly, NC State had a rough go on floor last night. More concerning is the fact that Clemson went sub-196 at home. That's not gonna cut it to make regionals.
