NCAA Interesting Rankings Observation

I thought it was interesting that despite the new method of ranking teams in the NCAA, if rankings were based only on overall average, the teams ranked 1-10 would be exactly the same.

Another interesting observation that Spenser made in his week 11 rankings post is that Utahs ‘away’ meets in west valley city Utah were supposed to be counted as home meets because of the new rule around venues that are a certain distance or less from your home arena would count as home meets. The Maverick Center is within that distance but RTN wasn’t counting them yet as home meets. It appears that was never updated. Does anyone know why? I’m not sure if that would have changed their actual ranking but it seems like a big thing to not account for.
