it will likely be easier potentially obtain an Olympics berth as well. Fighting off her own teammates and trying to grab the sole European +1 would be a challenge. Trying to obtain the Asia +1 would likely be an easier go.

Are we having apparatus world cup routes for 2028? She could be in the mix there also.

Nevermind Sweden's incredibly stringent rules about sending one to the Olympics. Qualifying is no assurance that you will actually get to attend.

We can say "Taiwan" at Gymnaverse. As far as I know, the Chinese government has not yet infiltrated our forum. LOL.

Good for her. I hope she develops some really clean routines during the NCAA season and then sticks to them.

She has a gorgeous double pike. I'd love to see that instead of the full-in.

We can absolutely say "Taiwan." "Chinese Taipei" is historically meaningless.

Sweden's had the talent and coaching expertise to qualify a team to the Olympics but they just don't have the depth. Their goals are always based on all their top gymnasts fulfilling their potential/no one getting injured and that just does not happen (for any country). They'd have to probably (at least) double their talent pool to make it happen.

This was years ago. I think post-Beijing when they looked to be on an upward trajectory for a hot minute.

There was a period where they could have built a team around Jonna Adlertag and Ida Gustafson for sure. Top 8 at an olympics was definitely a reach however.
