A Temple University student died from his injuries after falling from a light pole as Eagles fans celebrated the team’s Super Bowl berth over the weekend, a source confirmed with NBC Philadelphia.

He no doubt had a bright future ahead of him, and it is so tragic that we will not be able to see how he would have made his mark on the world," the statement continued.

The irony of his death. Really, really devastating news. Just a freshman.
