You got it. And I know she wasn't everyone's favorite beamer but she was one of the most consistent...except at the Olympics. If she just had 1 event to focus on, I think she could come up with an amazing set. Not sure what skills she could put in that would wow people (standing back layout?) but I would love to manifest it.

I wonder how she feels being married to an NFL journeyman. This is his third team within their marriage alone. She had a whole house custom built in Texas but almost immediately had to move to Chicago and now Indy.

yes. Its the only way to deal with the somewhat transitory nature of their contracts

Yes, nearly every professional athlete has an off-season home. Very very few reside all year in the city they play in. Nature of the job, playing for a single time the majority of or your entire career is exceedingly rare. A lot of them have their "home base" either where they grew up, or a low-tax southern state.

I know one player who did make the city he played in his home, he and his family live there year round. He got traded to a team clear across the country two weeks ago, it's really up ended everything for them. After 17 years in the same place, they have no idea what's next. His contract expires at the end of this season and they felt like he would play with his original team until he retired. Do they remain on the city where they got married and the only place their kids have ever called home, even if he signs with another team this summer? They just don't know right now.

He’s probably got 1-3 years left. He is a decent depth safety and ok on special teams, but is 30 now and that’s really starting to push it in NFL terms.
