I don’t think I’ve ever seen footage of Silvia Hindorff doing her skill, let alone bars for that matter, but there’s a west German athlete competing one here in 1984.

This channel is uploading a lot of older German broadcasts. They’ve got the 1984 DTB as well as some other rare finds, like the Bulgarian team training on beam in '83 and a bunch of dual meet footage from the 70/80s. There’s also some figure skating and diving footage on that channel.

Bringing back an old, old thread here, but Hindorff's Hindorf has been a long-time obsession for me. Two routines have been uploaded in the last year, one from early 1978, one from late 1979, and she doesn't do a Hindorff in either - or at least not the clear hip-Tkachev. Instead she does a clear hip to a sort-of hop full (one hand barely leaves the bar). I no longer have access, but from memory, this move better fits the way her routine was described in coverage of the 1978 World Championships in International Gymnast.
