Every time this comes up, I always remind that her mom has crohns and sometimes it’s hereditary. Maybe she does, too. My son has it and when it was at its worst, he was a walking skeleton with sunken eyes. He’s better now that he’s lost two feet of his intestines, but is still painfully thin.

But, yeah, probably an eating disorder. I just bring up Crohns as another possibility.

I've long wondered if Nastia has an eating disorder. They are decently common in the gymnastics world (I should know lol) and she's looked worryingly thin for a while now. I feel like if it was some crazy health issue she'd share that there was SOMETHING going on?? Idk, correct me if that seems totally off base.

I think most of us agree with you on this. (But then there is also the issue of those ridiculous ensembles. Which is another matter entirely. Maybe.)

Is there a broadcast that I can watch? The only thing on YouTube was the feed of routines with no commentary. Also, the venue they have been using in Louisville seems so blah and un-special.

None of the winter cup was broadcast either

2022 and 2023 were broadcast. 2022 is even still available to watch on Peacock, as they are constantly peppering me with suggestions to watch it again.

2024 was not broadcast, it was the same YouTube stream as this year. Unlike this year though, 2024 did have John and Sam commentating for senior WAG and MAG. That’s the competition they kept bringing other people into the booth with them for a rotation. They interviewed Brett McClure, Li Li Leung, Chellsie Memmel, and Paul Juda.
