I saw he competed at Italian Nationals and assumed he was a guest just like Kaylia Nemour.
However, Gymcastic revealed that he has moved to Italy and switched nationalities!

Interesting to see if he will represent Italy internationally.

He's been in Italy for a while, and I think he won before, too, but I had not heard that he changed nations. Do you have a source for that?

2025 Italian Championships Results
Nothing exceptional except maybe his vault and PBars, and he just narrowly beat Yumin Abbadini. It looks like Casali wasn't competing.
