While we’re now blessed to have electronic copies of previous COPs online, the majority of these are the original versions. As such, much of the evolution of a COP over a quadrennium is not contained within them. With resources going offline (website crashes, people moving onto other interests, etc.), I feel some of this knowledge is beginning to become lost. To fill the void, I have started aggregating knowledge that I have accumulated over the years, and to the extent possible, I am including copies of source documents. Eventually, I also hope to post evaluations of routines.

First up is the 1993 - 1996 COP. Any feedback or questions is welcome!

Long live the introduction of the front full punch front as a legitimate elite World medal-winning tumbling pass on floor exercise

It’s like the kovacs on HB… it was so cool until everyone did it! I do love that only 1 FX champ dismounted with a front full when a full-in was the same! Not a huge fan of Kui yuanyuan as an FX champ

By far the easiest floor routine to win a world title since maybe the 70s, at least in our contemporary understanding of difficulty.

I forgot that she did 5 passes. That's very 2006 of her in 1996.

The quad started with this being the only 10.0 SV routine in the 1993 world floor finals. And she won the bronze medal.

I'm actually having a hard time figuring out how she earned a 10 SV

Bobrova was just a better landing on the full in pike for world gold.
Was she the first to do the 2 1/2 twist punch front in competition?

thank you, I was missing that the front full to punch front was worth .2... I thought it was .1

and Dudnik did the 2 1/2 twist punch front in 89
