Incredible that they could boss vault so conclusively even without Bican. If she did nothing else, compulsory and optional vault from her would've almost certainly got them the silver.

Losing both Bican and Presecan shortly before the games definitely knocked them down in the standings, assuming everyone would hit to at least the same degree as they did in Atlanta.

I can't even remember all the Romanian injuries in 96.

The Sabae team was Milo, Gogean, Amanar, Marinescu, Cacovan, Hatagan and Presacan. I know Presacan was on the preferred team and got injured late- was it Loaies that replaced her? Cacovean was at Euros in May, but didn't compete in the team final iirc. Same with Bican, but that makes a bit more sense as her events were VT/FX and in 3 up 3 count Romania didn't need any help there. What about Hategan?
