GAGE's membership with USAG has been terminated effective immediately.

USAG notified GAGE of allegations of non-compliance and despite receiving notice and opportunity to comply, GAGE has been alleged to have continued to violate the terms of these suspensions and SafeSport Code.

What does this mean for kids there? They cannot compete in their final USAG competitions this season? We are weeks away from State meets

Yes. They will need to find a new gym.

So the Milton sisters and the Crain sisters have to find new gyms for the elite season.

As far as elite gyms, no, there aren't any others in the area. CaMarah Williams trained at Edge Gymnastics, which is also in the Kansas City area, but I don't believe the have many level 9s and 10s, and certainly no other elites.

This was sent to GAGE coaches. Athletes and coaches registered with GAGE are eligible to compete through March 2. After that, they will need to be affiliated with a new gym in order to continue to compete at USAG events.

GAGE is huge, between Xcel, DP, and elites they must have nearly 200 gymnasts. No single gym in the area can absorb that. Heck, most gyms couldn't take 10 kids this late in the season.

I feel for all the kids that are going to be affected by this, I really do. But I also keep asking myself, WTF were their parents thinking in the first place? Who in their right mind sends their child to GAGE?!

Aulya's USAG profile is already updated to "Carter's Gymnastics." Interesting choice, if that's the Carter's in Arizona, since Jack just got formally suspended for 4 years after being temporarily suspended for....years. I can't remember how long, just it was a long time.

This is such a big step. Horrible for the gymnasts and the families affected even if of course the writing has been on the wall etc. I wonder how many will relocate just because of this...

One and the same. He left Parkette's after Sydney, iirc, to open his own gym.

I think that Jack Carter was subject to a safe sport investigation relatively recently.

Chow’s in Des Moines too, but none of them are commutable. They’d have to move.

It takes about 3 hours just to drive from Kansas City to the center of Missouri. Nothing is nearby.
