Her location doesn’t make any difference as long as she tells them. There are literally thousands of athletes subject to the testing pool, living and training in the US who are not American.

NCAA needs to do a better job of supporting athletes especially in this type of scenario.

They will normally reduce it on appeal if they believe it to be a genuine error.

The maximum drama option is if they reduce it not enough to let her do 2027 worlds and Romania don't qualify but in time for the 2028 world cup circuit. Then her and Sabrina could be trying for the same Olympic qualifying spots. Imagine what Camelia would do.

Why would the NCAA be involved? Wouldn’t it be up to the gymnast or in this case the Romanian Federation to keep the FIG updated ?
