Is it for staff to use to make announcements of various things?

I can see if for notice of technical changes to the board, any technical issues, policy changes.

I think we just sticky things about gymnastics events.
 
I split the “About The Site + Feedback” category into two separate categories.

Only staff can create a new thread in the “Announcement” category. Basically the category will notify all the members each time a new thread is created in it… so it is good for announcements.

Gymnastics events / competitions should just go in the category that is related to it.
