The 8th end nearly killed me. The whole game was so back and forth, but that 8th destroyed my stomach lining. The last throw was absolutely magnificent.
When you "watch" the live results on Olympics.com, they put up a diagram after each stone showing where everything is. You don't know how they got there, but it is still a cool way to keep up with the action if you can't watch until you get home from work. FYI... ;)

Today started a new era in women's doubles luge at the Olympics, the first with separate men's and women's events. It was previously an open event, but all the entrants were dual men for the weight advantage.

They've both been around for a long time, him having exceptional success with his previous partner--who has publicly accused him of being abusive. She had to find a new partner because her previous partner/current boyfriend is banned for 6 years for sexual assault.

And she supports the old partner. I don’t know the particulars beyond what was in the Netflix documentary. I don’t know judging either. But their performance was less appealing and he had the mistake on his twizzles. Aldo I thought I saw something out of place where he dragged his boot sideways on the ice.

Gilles and Poirier were my favorites today.
