What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Winter Olympics?

I can’t wait for hockey, alpine skiing, and snowboarding!

I'm rooting for ancient crone Lindsey Vonn to show that old people still got it. Also, a previous "olympic boyfriend" is on her coaching staff, so I'm hoping he gets some air time (Aksel Lund Svindal).

I'm also interested if Malinin can deliver in figure skating.

Also, curling.

This will be the first Winter Olympics without Team Shuster participating since 2002. It's kind of like the 2024 Olymipcs without Chusovitina, but Chusovitina is older than Josh Shuster and competed in more Olympics.

Mr Mary Clare and I are going to see one of the hockey matches and I’m hoping to manage to see something else too. I’m very excited, I haven’t been to a Winter Olympics since Sochi

I love getting addicted to curling every four years. I always watch figure skating and dip into the various acro sports. The cross races are fun….I think I’ll watch most winter Olympic sports with the exception of ice hockey and the biathlon.

I don’t take time off for winter games but I will have it on whenever I can.

I love the Winter Olympics - obsessed with ski jumping and snowboard slopestyle, but I'll happily sit in front of moguls, big air, halfpipe, speed skating....
Winter sports are insane, but they're so fun to watch.

(I'm largely indifferent to figure skating/ice dance, which the algorithm has trouble believing - seems to think if I like gymnastics I should be into artistic skating too.)

I love watching long track speed skating, especially the longer distances. Plus curling, cross country skiing, luge, bobsled.

Figure skating. I don’t really care for Alyssa Liu’s skating all that much, but her comeback story is really awesome and I would love to see her do well.

Not excited at all about the return of Eteri and her athletes to the Olympic stage.

Same! I really have no interest in either, baffling anyone who knows my interest in dance and gymnastics.

I enjoy watching hockey, ski jumping, long course speed skating, and biathlon, but usually don’t get too wrapped up in the Olympics.

Biathlon - cross country skiing where you have to stop and shoot at targets at the end of each lap
Parallel team slalom
cross country skiing - especially the sprint event in heats and the skiathlon where they have o change skis
Ski cross - either on skis or snowboards where it's a race and they go in heats of 4

I will be watching as much as I possibly can, I enjoy all the sports, though figure skating is always my top pick, followed by skiing and biathlon.

But I also love (both skiing/snowboarding) half pipe and aerials

Fun fact: My brother helped make the first permanent Half Pipe in existence at Stratton Mountain, Vermont, USA. Many years before that, in the 1800s, our great-great grandfather helped clear the hiking trails that would much later become Stratton Mountain Ski Area

I love to watch ice dance, curling, luge, skeleton and bob sleigh and down hill the best. But I can watch almost anything for a bit.
