Does anyone know what is going on with Konnor McClain this year? She's always catching her Church release too close with bent arms, and has had mistakes on beam in at least 3 meets. That beam routine used to be so easy for her.

Caught the second half of LSU-Missouri. The beam judges were on crack.

I would rather watch Konnor be shaky than most hit/basic routines, but the Church has been frighteningly close to her face the last couple of weeks.

The former gymnasts that act as commentators are chosen for their name and fame not for their broadcasting ability.

Very few actually have public speaking or any other communications.

Sam Peszek majored in Communication Studies.
Bridget Sloan majored in Telecommunicatons.

Anastasia Webb did not major in this field. Her degree is in Health and Exercise Sciences.

Webb does not have the experience or the skills taught in this area. She's commentating because she is the 2021 NCAA AA champion.

Some, like Ali Raisman, do their homework. Some don’t even seem to be aware of what homework they should do.

Well she is knowledgeable, it is just annoying she keeps repeating the same phrases and answers every question with: 100%, also don’t like her voice, then again, I managed to get used to Raisman

Aly Raisman IMO doesn't have the right voice. I don't like listening to her. Some voices just don't hit right.

Webb seems to think that being a commentator means that you have to talk 100% of the time, even if there is nothing to say. She also makes me wonder how she passed college English courses.
