Schedule (I won't cut and paste because it doesn't format):

Sprout's Quad Meet with Oklahoma, UCLA, Utah, and LSU is obviously the meet of the week.
The second session will be interesting with Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky, and California.

other notables:
Clemson vs Alabama
Florida hosting West Virginia, North Carolina, and Temple.

I was impressed by both Florida and Alabama in their season opener.. Clemson improved from last week. I don’t think they will be a factor this year but a very promising team for the future…

Sprouts Quad session 1 was such a mess. Utah falling all over the place while Neff scores a 10, UCLA being very 9.8ish, Oklahoma deciding to take six bazillion landing deductions on floor, and Jay Clark having a hissy fit over beam scores, succeeding in getting Zeiss' score raised and tying Oklahoma only to lose on a tie break.

Oklahoma was way overscored on bars. eastep and Fatta almost caught their releases with their teeth but still 9.9+ scores. that is why I really do not like Oklahoma because they are always so overscored. i know, not their fault at all but it makes me want another team to win
Every team in both sessions was overscored on bars at that meet.

I read somewhere Jay should have been yellow carded. Was he that bad?

We couldn't hear anything on the broadcast, but his body language was, to me, attempting to intimidate the judge and others he was speaking to. He is not a small man, and was standing very close, leaning over people considerably shorter than him, quite literally talking down at them. He also kept putting his hand on a judge in a very patronizing manner.

Like I said, we couldn't hear, but it was pretty clear that he raised his voice at least a few times and the longer the whole thing went on, the more frequently he was waving his arms around in a dismissive manner.
