at the former Civic Center/XL Center now PeoplesBankArena.

Depending on the cost I will be there. I refuse to pay huge costs for tickets though, so if I can't justify the ticket price to see in person rather than watch for home that will be the deciding factor.

It was the Pre-Olympics US Classic. All the Olympians were there and also Gabby Douglas was making her comeback.

I decided NOT to attend because 1. all the good tickets were gone before they went on sale for the public. 2. the second tier seats that were ok were reserved for club purchases. 3. whatever was left over was so ridiculously overpriced it was not worth it. 4. there was construction over near the (then) XL Center- which was tiresome.

Isn’t that the one where for a single rotation, 3 Olympic AA champions competed against each other?

YES!
It is also where Shilese Jones made herself a lock for the Olympic Team...until injury :(

I don’t want to travel to sit in an expensive seat too far from what’s going on.
Not to mention plane ticket and lodging- it adds up quickly.

Also the downstairs toilet went caput today, hopefully hubs can fix it today...I tried but not successful.
The entire downstairs bathroom really needs to be demo'd and redone so, if it needs to be this summer after all it'll be penny pinching time as we still are paying off the new furnace we had to have put in January 2024.

UGH home owning....

sometimes I miss my single years when splitting a three bedroom condo with everything included besides electricity and internet cost me $500 for rent and $100 for the electricity and internet/cable. That's how I was able to afford $1000 vacations every summer. :(
