Georgia ended up in a really good draw and at this point should make nationals which would exceed my pre-season expectations for them. I saw them making nationals next year with them hosting a regional and the Lilly Smith class being seniors. Honestly, unless Mich State shows more than they have this season (a lowe possibility), not making nationals would be a disapointment. Stanford has a little more challenge, but also should be in a good spot.

I am most intrigued with the Oregon St. regional. Does Utah keep the streak alive? Bama feels a bit vulnerable, plus they have to travel across country (talk to Florida when they last did that for a regional) and they are pretty reliant on key freshman to perform. Then again, maybe freshman are immune to that stuff?

Georgia has the ball in its court, but Michigan State put up a performance at Big Tens that could beat Georgia. Smith stated she hopes to be back (a few events?) by Regionals and that would help. Cal just doesn't have the vaulting to compete with Georgia, plus with Georgia's strength on floor.

Stanford has the best path to Nationals but Clemson beat them at ACCs. Stanford has to figure out that vault rotation as well, the FTY they are using need to be better. Michigan is a wild card to see how they perform.

Missouri, Arkansas, and Kentucky at home will be brutal, only one of them (Oklahoma is 99% likely to advance) will make it.

The death regional is Oregon State with UCLA and Bama and a dangerous Utah team as the 3rd seed. Then you have Oregon State as the home team and Denver can get it going as well. Bama looked a bit flat at SECs and Utah hit to win Big 12. UCLA figured out vault at Big Ten. But there will be no breather room in that regional final.

I'll post my bracket tomorrow, left it at work. I do have Utah and UCLA advancing on my end.
