Wow Nebraska just hired MSU assistant Nicole Jones. I did not see that coming, being that she has lived much of her life and trained Lansing. Good for her, I will miss her as a Spartan.

McMurray just announced they're adding men and women. They intend to compete starting Fall 2027.

Saw that Nebraska got gutted, all the staff posted over the last 24 hours saying goodbye. Who will fill their spots?

When a new head coach comes in, the staff is hired by the new coach, so if they want to stay they have to basically re-apply.
There is still a chance that the assistants get rehired. It all depends on Nicole Jones and whom she may want to add to the coaching staff.

Well they are off the official roster too, just like the Georgia coaches... so they are all gone.

Does Georgia have a ton of open spots or are they going to have to start being picky?

There are 20 gymnasts currently on the roster at UGA for next year. One would have to assume at least a couple, if not more of those are walkons. I wonder if they’d have to have a walkon gymnast leave to make room for a transfer. It seems like walkons might become a thing of the past with the rosters being limited to 20.
