Jeff Graba's been weirdly detached all season. I can't say I'm surprised.

Carly Dockendorff jumped to mind as another potential firing. Missing nationals on top of what was a rough regular season?

Gotta wonder about Casey Jo McPherson and Pitt. They can't be happy missing out yet again.

Wonder is GWU has seen enough. Just missed out because they shit the bed at conference championships last season, and this season was just one long bed shitting (plus they may have to find a new practice space).

Relative to Carly, I wonder if Utah not making a bigger change in leadership when they let go of Farden is coming back to bite her and them. She was in the room for everything that happened with Tom and then retained some athletes for various coaching/support roles that were vocal in their support for Tom. Even if Carly was innocent relative to her own behavior, this was likely a moment where you'd want to bring in a HC from the outside to decide who if any of the staff were going to be retained and only keep the ones that can be credibly seen as assets in resetting the culture. This is what UCLA did after letting go of Waller, which seems to be paying off.

Heather Brink is out at Nebraska

“Nebraska Head Coach Heather Brink, who has served as Nebraska’s head coach for eight seasons, will not return and a national search for a replacement will begin immediately.”

I was wondering where Linas Gaveika, the former DU assistant coach, landed after leaving last year and with all these new posts opening, but it looks like he has two very small children and just opened a kid-focused rec gym Denver a couple months ago. So I'm guessing he's out of the NCAA circuit.

I can see Utah moving on Carly. Not just for mining nationals but due to the amount of terrible meets they had this season. A team with that amount of talent should not be having multiple disaster meets.

I'm having a bit of a shit time right now, so I'd really appreciate it if more team would fire their coaches today so we can endless speculate where they might end up and who might replace them. Need something to distract me.

To that end.....Graba seems very burned out. He should take some time off. I'm also guessing that Auburn will want to make a splashy hire a la Clemson.

I'm sure there's someone out there who will jump at the Nebraska job. Last in the Big 10 is still in the Big 10.

I'll be curious to see what happens to the rest of the Auburn and Nebraska staffs once the new hires are made.

Nebraska would be a decent spot for a first time head coach, no high expectations right off the bat, and it is in the Big 10.
Auburn would be good for a head coach looking to move up from a low expectation job to a higher pressure job.

Nebraska and Auburn are no slouches.

I wonder if Auburn will get a new head coach or if Sara Carver-Milne would be promoted to head coach. She was head coach at Brown before moving to Auburn.

I wonder if Nebraska would take back Oleskii Kolatov and Marissa King back as co-head coaches. They seemed to have helped UGA quite a bit this year.

Do we see Ashley Miles Greig getting a position?

Would Casey Jo Magee go for Auburn or Nebraska? Despite getting assurance from Pitt, I don't see them becoming contenders for Nationals.

Auburn is awfully tempting to Cecile AND Laurent considering Juliette will be at Auburn on diving scholarship.

I also wonder about Jason Butts at West Virginia, they were consistently making nationals and now this year 47th.

Kristin White is getting lots of praise for Utah State. I wonder if she would be considered for a school like Nebraska or Auburn.

I don't see the McCool-Griffeths leaving LSU.

Any other thoughts on moving coaches?

Lots of things to think about.
