Is Becky still gym-less? I know she's no longer at her previous gym and there was speculation she asked to leave.

The facility she filmed her recent TikToks at looks like the Nile Wilson Gymnastics centre in Mansfield (formerly part of the sprawling Beth Tweddle empire). No idea who, if anyone, is actually coaching her or whether she’s just booked some time there.

Amber Valley definitely has a pit. That’s the club she was at in 2024. Last year I think she was training at Rugby, which possibly doesn’t have a pit. But she’s basically pissed off the entire East Midlands at this point

Becky is from Nottingham and due to its proximity to the M1 motorway, there’s a much larger number of gymnastics clubs you can drive to within 90 minutes* compared with most similar sized cities in the UK. But she is very quickly running out of options.

90 minutes is still considered a significant drive by British people. Like they are going to the garage first to check their tyre pressure, they’ve definitely bought sweets for the journey and possibly planning a break if all passengers can agree on which service station to stop at, because British people have *opinions on these things

New Jersey isn't so different, to be honest. There MUST be a Wawa on the route! 7-Eleven won't 'cut it.

I'm from the DC area. 90 minutes is just the daily commute, especially if you're driving on 495 or 66. Gymnastics-wise, if I were to go to Hill's, it would be about 90 minutes because of traffic. Never let Google Maps fool you.

I once worked with someone who commuted to London from York.

Because in BG land, you cannot coach yourself on the premises of an BG club. Invalidates the club’s insurance and all sorts of policies even though she’s an adult. Someone has to be the coach not just on paper for competitions etc, but someone has to take responsibility day to day.

That so few coaches are willing to do so, or willing to continue doing so when a free ride to major competitions is almost guaranteed, speaks volumes.

Tldr: she’s a nightmare

Huge difference between train and driving. 90 mins on a train, yes plenty do that in and out of London. Nobody is driving Carlisle to Glasgow 5 days a week
