I think it’s worth noting that the figure skating team event spans over multiple days, even though each athlete just does 1 or two routines. Maybe a gymnastics team event should be longer than 3 hours?

I also feel that it’s a really long way to travel for some of those gymnasts to just perform one routine, then go home. That part felt incomplete to me.

And some individuals didn't get to compete at all! That was the part that really bugged me.

No deduction for Aiko's Switch Ring?

What is this getting these days? No closed ring (foot at head height) so 0.1?

I also took for feet on the double pike (but I didn't take the full 8 for the landing so we came out at the same).

And the 0.8 max applies only to landing deductions, right? Not "all" deductions? (I see you put bent knees in the counting of the 0.8):

I also really want to deduct her for too much face. It is obnoxious, to me.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the format. It was a bit all over the place for me.

I get it is a competition but I'd be pissed to have travelled all that way to not compete a single routine. And it felt incomplete to me that every event wasn't able to be included.

Based on what I have seen in STS, if the foot is past the crown of the head, even if it isn't completely past head height, then no deduction. Note that with how much there is to keep track of, I may not have been 100% consistent across the board in my application of this.

No - the 0.8 maximum applies in either case. See below from Page 68 of the Help Desk.

Way back in the day, they had that mixed team cup with MAG, WAG, and rhythmic.

The competition structure should definitely be changed, but probably won't.
