Jung-Ruivivar likely did not attempt to make the team. She red-shirted her freshman year at Stanford last year and unenrolled from the school.
She's back there now and back on the roster. But possibly she was not in elite routine shape.

Kvamme, not sure, maybe she is focused on her NCAA routines/college courses.

Finnegan and Malabuyo no longer have NCAA eligibility.

That said, you can still do both NCAA and elite if you want. Skye Blakely and Josc Roberson are evidence of that going to Worlds this month but also getting ready for upcoming NCAA season.
I didn’t know that Jung-Ruivivar unenrolled from Stanford. I was excited to see her in the Philippines roster. Maybe in the coming years as she wanted to compete at LA2028. She is from Los Angeles after all.

What junior results did Yulo have? I thought she was injured the whole time and contemplated quitting. That’s why the choice was surprising considering the skills she was showing. Disappointing choices

I didn't know about the injury. But hope she's making a comeback if so. It's not a Teams world and it's closer to the Philippines than usual. If they're serious about building a programme this is a sensible move. Hope it's good for her.

She is a first-year senior - plenty of time to grow.

I think it’s really important to have gymnasts from the island at Worlds. Yulo I’m assuming is the best option.

Lots of team announcements lately. Singapore is sending the tried and true but disappointed with the Philippines 4th spot - Finnegan, Malabuyo and Garcia are good choices but Yulo? Watched her latest video and the difficulty and execution isn't there. So disappointed. What happened to their NCAAs athletes (Ruivivar, Kvamme etc) and recruits (Supnet, Nyland) that can at least show skills? Elaiza Yulo? Nepo choice? but then again it is a corrupt country. Was really hoping they'd send a decent contingent. At least Finnegan is there.

Does anyone know if Zsofia Kovacs is competing at worlds?
She’s not in the list posted on the FIG website but not sure if that’s the final list.

Will Ana Barbosu compete at Worlds? If she’s at Stanford Uni in USA already, does that mean she’s not going to Worlds?
She has skipped all the qualification events - verification, Paris, Szombathely - so unless she's been given a free pass, seems not.

Denisa Golgota has won AA at nationals and floor at Szombathely but withdrew from all events finals at nationals this weekend. If that wasn't a significant injury, she seems very likely to go for AA.

Sabrina Voinea won floor at Paris with a new floor routine, then again at nationals with another new floor routine - also won beam and vault. So she should go.

My main question is whether they'll use their full quota and send Ella Oprea for bars and Ana Maria Mihaescu for all around. Mihaescu hasn't quite breached 50 AA I think, and Oprea can but doesn't usually score in mid 13s. Maria Ceplinschi has been pacing and isn't going for worlds. Ghigoarta and Cosman haven't completed since Euros and weren't at trials, and no sign of Preda.

Stanford is an academics first school, I can't imagine them being supportive of her just arriving on campus and then taking off for an international competition, even if it is Worlds. Not saying it was their decision, but probably a factor.
