Shi Cong left... He had a lead over Seifert so he doesn't need 14+ on floor to get bronze...

Zhang Boheng and Daiki Hashimoto have been the best gymnasts in the world for the last 4 years — with the Olympics being a blip for both of them, really.

I will say, if Oka had hit floor, he still would have only gotten bronze. And any day that the two of them both falter, he's the most likely candidate to win, like he did in Paris.

BTW, none of the scoring seemed suspect to me so far. People will analyze after the fact, but even with a few stupid rules, the men's system is so much more reliable than the women's system.

So great to see all the contenders hitting virtually every routine most of the way through! Also this long term friendly competition and rivalry between Hashimoto and Boheng with so many just behind them waiting for either of them to falter is so exciting to watch.
