The quality of gymnastics here is excellent, this is great.

I think they were trying to stop the ubiquitous triple twist dismount.

I do think that they lost something in the process -- that quad full dismount that Kenzo did was something special, and it should still be permitted, in my opinion. A little bit of baby/bath water there...

But that Liukin was very close to the bar and caught very bent arms. He'll get 0.5 off for that.

They are showing routines out of order. The commentators see also see live, right? So they must know already that he hits...

14.3 for Zhang Boheng. That's a fair score, too, because the rest of the exercise was great.

Hashimoto is well-placed, though, to repeat as World Champion for the third time. He just has to hit more or less.
