I just couldn't get up at 3AM to watch finals but I just read through the thread and I'm definitely watching them later. At least I know I can breathe through BB finals. Going further, Paul Hamm’s golds (AA and FX) in 2003 is the only other time the U.S. has won more than one gold at worlds.

Whittenburg’s gold on rings means the U.S. has won titles on all individual events except vault. Only a few countries match this or have titles on all events.

I’m not a fan of Sugihara’s overly expressive facial expressions throughout her floor routine. Reminds me of the skater Evgenia Medvedeva.
Can someone explain the crown (?) movement Aiko does for intros, awaiting her scores, and in her FX routine. What does it mean?

For somebody who was touted as the savior of Romanian gymnastics, they sure allowed her to be mismanaged to the point of losing out on an Olympic medal because nobody in her camp appealed the OOB.

It’s literally all Camelia’s fault. She isn’t a good enough coach for this level, but can’t or won’t admit it, not even for the sake of her daughter
