You could have fallen asleep and given the top 15 all a 7.7 E and you’d have been in line.

I was really hoping the judges were going to get serious about artistry and start making E score distinctions on that basis. But Perotti outperformed all the floor finalists and still got the standard E score -- which, in her case is really just landing errors on her 3 tumbling passes. :/

Visser repeated her tuck front on floor as her dismount.

I wonder whether the D Panel credited the second one as a repeat, or if they regarded the first one as incomplete and only awarded her the second one.

Either way - it doesn’t change her score. And it meant the judges didn’t have to make a call on the first one (at least publicly).

Yeah it’s a shame we can’t see the artistry breakdown.

List of qualifiers?
And there are lists by event here:

God knows what they credited the first as - it was really scary

She was probably worried that she might not get CR for the forward element

Starts around 1.07.15

The D panel should have credited the first front tuck as complete and eligible for DV and counting toward CR # 4 / Salto Backward and Forward because Visser took off for the element in bounds and landed it feet first prior to the fall.

Don’t forget that the last time there was a post-Olympic worlds like this was 2017, and that team was led by Ragan Smith. The 2013 worlds team featured Brenna Dowell. It always looks bleak the year behind an Olympics.

(2022 was an exception because it was only 2 years away from the next Olympic Games
For all the faults of Texas Nightmares, Ragan was legit, and Morgan Hurd won the AA that year, and proved it was no fluke in 2018.

This is hands down the worst the US has ever looked since the Sydney quad, I don’t know how anyone could argue otherwise.
