Can I just put it out there - I love Ellie Black! She has been such a reliable gymnast for Canada for the last 9 (yes 9!!) World Championships. She is so happy and smiley

And has gone into the lead with a comfortable 13.466

I'm never going to love Ellie's gymnastics. But I really respect them and everything she's achieved, and the sportsmanship and judgement she shows.

I also really appreciate someone being able to go out and really hit everything today.

Alana Walker is currently 5th AA, how absolutely thrilling for her! Normally I would say a 48.599 won't be enough to finals, but given how the men went, she might get in.

The landings are clearly a struggle, everything deep. You can tell she's getting nothing from the mat. I hope we don't see a combination of no springs and fatigue take out half the leading group in the 4th rotation of the AA.
