The more I think about it, Team GB have been very clever not having anyone do AA - the finalists are going into finals rested and hopefully injury free.

I hadn't actually clocked that was happening until today. But it makes sense. Since Jake and Joe aren't doing AA this year, there was no medal chance, and they don't need to be crowbarring someone in for the sake of contending.

It'll be interesting to see if Courtney manages to hang on (no pun intended) for the rings final. Are there lots of big names to come so the 14.2-14.4 bottleneck will be irrelevant, or is it going to be another rings quali where a step on landing takes you from 5th to 15th?
