If anyone would like, I'd appreciate a breakdown of the SV of the MSU floor routines. I'm not quite seeing how they get to a 10.0 SV. I'm a DP coach so I know bonus works a bit differently. It's good to know for my athletes trying to do NCAA. TIA!
 
I try really hard to like what’s good about NCAA and ignore the rest, but I really can’t with the two pass routines. Aside from the issue of it just not being enough gymnastics, there are very few gymnasts and choreographers who can actually fill that time. It’s boring, and it’s ruining the whole back half of the meet.

I did appreciate the score separation between Bowers and Davis and the various gymnasts who were clean but not pristine at OU/Bama.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night. There's too much dance and it's not even real complicated dance, a lot of it was just sort of shimmying around like you would dance at a party. I don't care to watch 40 seconds of that over and over and over.

Yeah, at this point, I only watch it because it's convenient, not because the product is good. I'm so bored of two pass floor routines and beam isn't much better. I know they say it's to save their bodies, but I just feel like it's an easy way to reduce deductions.
