Pretty much. Two pass routines are now the norm, and I hate them almost as much as I hate Aly Raisman on bars or Joscelyn Roberson on everything.

I was stunned watching Robersons floor and beam its like there are minimal skills required and they don't even have to be well done just landed.

I think they should have to do 3 passes, it means they can do something a bit cool and creative for one of them if it’s only being used to fulfill a requirement and not for difficulty

There was also a VHS tape on the Mag 7 that came out after Atlanta. I still have mine. It's possible she could have watched that. Still have my Gymnastics Greatest Stars VHS too.

In Aly's book Fierce, she said that her mom had the 96 Olympics recorded when it occurred and that Aly watched the old VHS tape(s) over and over. Maybe Lynn also had Barcelona recorded.

It's the most UCLA thing ever to go 195.250 in the first meet of the season and then 197.550 in meet two.

That's a 2.300 differential in a week. That's more than a 4 fall difference.

She's going to have massive scores thrown at her for her entire NCAA career all because she lucked into one world championship team. I'm not looking forward to it.

UCLA's first meet was also scored with a very different pen than the second meet. This is a deeply unserious sport.

Yeah, my parents recorded things before I knew how to, not necessarily everything I wish they had, but I watched and rewatched the 1994 Olympics a lot as a kid.
