I don't remember the last time even junior men were $20 for nationals.
No doubt--but if they lowered their expectations along with the price, they might find a few more fans and a better filled arena which the athletes probably want as well. Though the AI search just said that tickets started at 20 bucks for this event. So...search me.

Highest single event totals:

AA: Rivera, Wong, Roberson/Hang (tie)
VT: Wong (Pease and Stassi don't really matter for this; Roberson would've done the Cheng if not for the ankle discomfort)
UB: Blakely, Rivera, Wong
BB: Blakely, Rivera, Wong
FX: Rivera, Roberson, Sullivan

The team is very clear.
I thought it was only 4 athletes and no team final?

This is exactly the world team I wanted!

Wongs 2nd pass just ruins everything. Whip half to front full is something level 9s do. I hope she upgrades for selection camp.
For someone who used to be amazing at twisting, and is still doing a Silivas, that pass simply does not compute. I refuse to believe she can't do 1.5 to front full. Ain't no way. Her step out of it is probably getting .3 too (even though she does it as a step into choreography - stupid code), she should look into training it with a jump exit of some form to get rid of the landing deduction. Also wondering about a Double Lay dismount now that she's only doing 3 passes. Like, let's go WIN the World AA title, Leanne!

I think that at Classic she showed a 2 1/2 twist - front 1/1 in training. Maybe her UF coaches are pacing her and she'll be able perform it at the selection camp in the exercise.

I am happy for leanne. I can't believe she is still only 21. Somehow, since we have been following here for so long I thought she would bemid 20s. If she can stay injury free, she may be a gymnast who does better as she gets better.
