That's 21, the elite committee voted that they will take 24, filing out the remaining spots in rank order by AA for Winter Cup, American Classic, and US Classic, minimum 51.50. That would then be Jordis Eichman, Annalissa Milton, and Myli Lew. Lew is already qualified on UB/BB, so that opens one more spot, which would be Catherine Guy (and the only other athlete to meet the 51.50 minimum). If any of the other auto qualifiers decides to compete or petitions are approved, that impacts those 4 sub-52 gymnasts.

Is Skye going to be all around ready? Or just bars and beam?
Unsure.
She was training floor and showed a handspring double front recently.
I think she is for sure doing bars and beam but who knows if she will end up doing AA.

If she does a regular Skye bars and beam she is going to Worlds, IMO. No need to do AA.

Day 1 recap: 11 am NBC

Since it is an individual Worlds, I am sure being a specialist isn't going to be a problem as someone needs to sit out an event anyway. So Blakely would sit out vault and floor.

That said, Blakely IS training all around, she's just not doing it at Nationals. She could always do AA at the World Selection camp at the end of September. If she receives an invitation to compete, which if she hits bars and beam she absolutely should get one.
